2023 Latino Travel Fest Speaker Form

Interested in being a Guest Speaker for our 2023 Latino Travel Fest? If the answer is yes… Yay!

One of the most important aspects of the Latino Travel Fest are the panels, discussions, workshops, and more. That’s where you come in!

The weekend will be filled with an array of speakers covering various topics that are important to the traveling Latino/x community.

Please fill in the information below. Space is limited. Applicants are NOT guaranteed acceptance.

We will be accepting speaker applications through September 30, 2022 at 11:59pm and notifying confirmed speakers on November 30, 2022.

  • LIMIT: 100 words max. Bios longer than 100 words will be edited down. If you are proposing a panel or co-presented session with someone else, please include their bio(s) and a link to their headshot(s) here as well. We do not accept co-bios written about more than one person. Each bio must be included separately.
  • If you are proposing a co-presented session or panel, please paste all photo links in the bio section above. PLEASE DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR LINK(S) BEFORE PASTING! We receive dozens of dead links each year.
  • This is important! Think of something short that will catch an attendee's eye. What title would make *you* want to go to your session?
  • Recommended length: 350 words. Please provide an outline of your session. The more work and detail you include here, the better we will be able to understand your session's content, and the more likely we will be to select you to present it. Keep in mind that people come to LTF to learn. Think of your session content as an opportunity to educate as well as inspire.
  • Recommended length: 150 words max. DO NOT use "I" statements or mention yourself or your blog or company by name in your session description. Focus on what attendees will come away from this session having learned. Our attendees crave actionable steps. Make sure they know exactly what they will get out of this session.
  • You can select multiple if you are not sure, but you must select at least one. All session types are 60 minutes max.
  • Please ensure that you have a relationship with your potential panelists and have told them about your session pitch before applying. We accept panels on an EXTREMELY limited basis, and recommend no more than four presenters per panel (one moderator and three panelists).
  • We strongly encourage Intermediate and Advanced proposals.
  • All session rooms will be outfitted with a PC laptop and projector with sound. All presentations must be submitted prior to LWT and will be pre-loaded on to session room computers.
  • Our goal with this festival is to bring the community together, share resources, and highlight Latinos/x who are changing the face of travel. However, we only have a small stipend per speaker to allocate to this event. If you would like to donate your time and expertise to this event, please let us know below.
  • If you would love to see another awesome Latino/a/x speak at the Latino Travel Fest, let us know here. We welcome all recommendations.
  • By clicking "yes", I grant Latino World Travelers, its representatives and employees the right to take photographs and videos of me and my property in connection with the Latino Travel Fest if selected as a speaker. I authorize Latino World Travelers, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that Latino World Travelers may use such photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content.
